Hiking, Sarek, Rago, Lofoten, Senja

In 2019 I spent 6 weeks backpacking in Scandinavia.

I arrived in early September with no set plans other than a desire to undertake a long trip involving Sarek National Park, Sweden. I ended up completing a trek starting on the Kungsleden Trail in Swedish Lapland, heading cross country through Sarek and Padjelanata National Parks, walking across the Norweigan border into Rago National Park and then ending by a Norweigan Fjord. Following this I then hiked and hitchhiked my way along the Lofoten Islands and onto Tromso before time ran short and I squeezed in a few detours on my way back to Oslo then home. One day I hope to return to pick up where I left off exploring more of the dramatic Scandinavian Landscape.
